Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Inventory Control Specialist to join their client's dynamic team in California. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within a thriving manufacturing environment, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Process inventory transactions including receipts, adjustments, scrap, and work tickets.
- Perform cycle counts, physical inventory counts, and inventory reconciliations.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and stock variances.
- Support production by recording material conversions and manufacturing activity.
- Create and close work tickets for make-to-stock production items.
- Maintain traceability of steel coils and generate identification tags.
- Upload and maintain mill certificates and product documentation.
- Manage inventory transfers between warehouse locations and off-site storage.
- Maintain inventory valuation reports and support monthly reporting.
- Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to ensure material availability.
- Assist with inventory process improvements and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience working with inventory systems, ERP, or warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
- Experience with Sage 100 ERP is a plus.
Required Work Hours
Monday to Friday, 1st shift.

Additional Details
Pay Range: $26 - $30 per hour
